The role of customer feedback loops in product improvement
This research focused on the role of customer feedback loops in product improvement, with objectives to evaluate how feedback loops enhance product development, assess their impact on innovation, and determine their effectiveness in meeting customer needs. A survey research design was justified for its ability to gather comprehensive data from a large sample, providing robust insights. Using Taro Yamane’s formula, a sample size of 340 respondents was selected from the software development industry in Abuja. The reliability coefficient score for the survey was 0.89, indicating high reliability. Findings indicated that effective customer feedback loops significantly enhance product development, drive innovation, and ensure that products meet customer needs. Recommendations include establishing robust feedback loops and integrating customer insights into product development processes to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
